I think a lot of people would have dealt with it in just as "silly" a way. It was blown completely out of proportion, by just about everyone involved, but you can't exactly blame her for that.

I don't know, but I see where this guy is coming from. I honestly can't say that we are "nice" people. At the very least, I don't think anyone here has proven in any way that they are genuinely good people, myself included. If I was a "good" person, I would drop all this. I wouldn't post here because I know that I'm possibly perpetuating her suffering.
But I'm still here. Why? Because I doubt I'd be able to survive without places like this. And I guess that means that I'm valuing my own mental health over hers. Does that make me a bad person? I'm not sure.
