Cake anon tried to make a cake from scratch twice, but failed so he bought that because he really wanted cake after smelling them all day. He is going to try once again when the time comes.

Probably cooking it too fast. Big bubbles form but if you cook it slow, it doesn't rise too fast and still bakes firm before it can get too bubbly. I'm not a pro, but that's my take.

After failing twice I went to the store and got a cake, and had them write Happy birthday cracky on it. It was a carrot cake, hence the carrots.

I think I know what I did wrong now, so I'm going to keep practicing till I get it right. I've got almost two weeks, it can't be that hard to learn.

Okay, cakes made from scratch came out perfectly. I made some buttercream frosting and put the first layer on. In the morning I'm going to dye and shape the marzipan and make the raspberry sauce. Pics when I wakeup. Maybe I'll try making a marzipan chibi cracky
