Why pigs if she doesn't like bacon? Doesn't one normally eat the sacrificed animal after it is killed? Reading the rules for animal sacrifices in Leviticus makes it sound more like a barbecue than anything else. Also I recall in the Iliad they eat the animals they sacrifice, so it is not just the wacky Jews.
