Who is going to pay for your tuition? How are you going to get into a top university if you did not attend a good high school in a rich suburb? How are you going to build your network you need to succeed when you are at community college.

Trust me, it is much worse in america than it is in europe. In europe you only pay relatively low tuition in most universities. And employers will not screen you depending on which school you went to.
