You fail to realize, you don't know who is in control of or who has access, illicit or not, to the records on this server. The webmaster could have no intent exploiting your machine or he could very well write malicious code that could exploit the security of your machine unbeknownst to you and grab personal data if it exists on it. Or the site itself could be exploited to gain access to your or others' machines.
You act too confident that no details can be gathered about you to be a real 'intelligence official'. Your physical address can easily be detected accessing your ISP's database. Timestamp records of ISP's indicate the physical address the IP address is assigned to for a particular moment. And with proper social engineering and/or a little network exploitation, your very identity could be given up.
