Feeling that you do not fit in/mesh with others can be worse than unwanted solitude. I'm always the outsider at family reunions. That, and I tire of watching everyone pretend that they enjoy eachothers' company when I know there is tons of bad blood between certain family members. I for one will be happy on January 2nd, when all of this holiday nonsense goes to sleep for another year.
