This is wonderful, though usually I'm not one for the sort of poetics that embrace Early Modern English -eths and the like. I've always found Cracky within Modernist works, with their maudlin realisations of inadequacy, though this preponderance might be due to an association of myself/the stalkers as a collective with Gatsby, and his story rings with a more ancient ache. I agree completely when you call Olivia an Avatar, for that seems for me the best description. |
