Oh, and btw, the reason one can freely and with no qualms submit a non-Caravaggio painting to the process of Crackyfication is precisely, chiaroscuro. The more diffuse the lighting, the easier it is to fudge details and hide contradictory light sources. I enjoyed doing Holofernes anyway, it was challenging. (fun)
