Thank you! I try to avoid blowing my own trumpet but I am quite a creative person (I have my own recording studio) and have set this weekend aside to learn about GIMP, I would never have bothered about photo editing if it wasn't for Cracky. Who says our chosen queen doesn't inspire people to greatness?

Turned it out it was much easier than I expected, the horrible grain was easier to manage than typical jpg compression artefacts. Newfound respect for png, at least when resizing is involved...

But I did use some of those for the Patmos Gospel, like this one here (4d5a).

It's just that given their very small size, it's hard to preserve much of the detail at wallpaper size...

But eventually, I'll try and get to that, sure...

This one I had tried and scrapped the results many times, but this is the first time I'm happy with the outcome...

Thanks, but all I did is color and contrast manipulations, the occasional elimination of visual clutter or smoothing of surfaces, and mostly the compositing of layers of filters.

I suppose there is also more of a creative act in re-framing, but then one could also say it's a destructive act of the excellent composition most Crackymons are graced with. I'd rather like to think of it as a transformative act, maybe a transcending act, on a visual level anyway.

Doesnt matter, we all know who did the photos themselves, and my work could not ever have reached that level of "excellent" work without the divinely inspired and most excellent work of the Holy Avatar Herself.

All I ever did was polish the stars, the shine is all Hers.
