Most of Rossettis' work based on Jane Morris reminds me of Cracky, and Crackyfags in general. Not much of a visual resemblance there, but it's rather the obsessive way he'd paint her, from memory, as various historical characters. Like a 'meme'. Rossetti was a proto-stalker. Were he alive today - he'd no doubt be on 71.
