Maybe we're talking at cross-purposes here.
I suppose YOU'RE talking about the thread currently directly below this one - that currently consists of 92 posts the degree of creativity and originality involved in which I cannot judge, as I'm not a great connoisseur of Crackypasta.
What I was talking about, though, was primarily three other pseudo-"threads" which currently take up about 50% of page 1 of the board and which do in fact consist of NOTHING ELSE AT ALL but one guy (presumably) just banging the copy and paste keys over and over again to assert his dominance over the board.
(Incidentally, I see that your beloved "Monk"'s thread likewise consists, for about 30% of its total bulk, of what is recognizable even to a non-Crackyfag like me as just years-old Crackypasta posted for the umpteenth time in unchanged form. I would guess that a Crackyfag might recognize 50%, 70%, maybe even 100% of it, as such).
As I say, I don't necessarily believe that "loyalty" and "guardianship" are negative qualities in themselves. But they only have sense and point when the "guard dogs" have SOMETHING THEY ARE ACTUALLY GUARDING. To use five-year-old Crackypasta to establish a perimeter within which there can be safely preserved....just more five-year-old Crackypasta seems entirely pointless to me.
