I would not cry. I would refuse to, even against my own will, against the very demands of my gashed heart. Instead, I would be friendly. Normal. And after that we will say our goodbyes.

By then I would have saved some money - a pocketful them. And I would spend all of it that night, to some girl whose name I don't even know.

I'll take her to some place decent. Someplace where we meet up with a few of her friends. Someplace where people are pleasant. Nods and laughter would be shared. A place where the music cease to end.
