If anything is "pretentious, trite and sophomoric", it's doing what this guy has just done: namely, taking a hundred words to say what could be said in four.
"Your post is shit" - that, in essence, is what your 100-word post boils down to. Why did you have to be so pretentious and sophomoric as to blow it up to 100 words? It's true, of course, that, if you'd just written that, your post would have been as good as meaningless, because you would have given nothing even resembling a reason or an argument for WHY the post you refer to is shit. But if you look closely for a second, you'll notice that you don't give anything even resembling a reason or an argument in the 100-word version either.
Just by way of a little time-saving tip, then:
When you come back with your Internet-tough-guy, oh-so-witty retort to this, don't put yourself through the stress and strain of trying to squeeze long words like sophomoric and methamphetamine out of your stunted little brain. Just go with your feeling and let out a long loud 'Mammy look at meeeeeeeeeeeee look at meeeeeeeeee look at meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!"
