Just a note for your reference once the niggers are gone and a style of stupidity more traditional on this site has settled back into its rightful position of dominance once again.
The "pretenshusness" you all claim to despise so much can be much more accurately and usefully defined than just as "the dropping of famous names from intellectual history and the evoking of famous terms and concepts". Namely, as "the dropping of famous names from intellectual history and the evoking of famous terms and concepts IN A WAY THAT PLAINLY INDICATES YOU HAVE NO ACTUAL FAMILIARITY WITH THE WORKS AND CONCEPTS IN QUESTION and are using the names, terms and concepts SOLELY in oder to impress people even more ignorant than oneself."
For this reason, I think that the OP's post is definitely "the one to beat" as far as "pretenshusness" goes, since no one who has read even a brief general introduction to Plato, let alone acquired a whole book by him, will still be labouring under the misconception that the classification of living entities into "species", "genera" etc. is his work. It is of course, as anyone with even a basic education is aware, the work of Aristotle.
I propose that - since the bar set by the first post in this thread as regards infantile, destructive pissing and shitting on the cultural legacy of the Occident is such a VERY high one and not likely to be attained again, let alone surpassed, by subsequent posters - the thread be now converted into the old reliable "let's scrawl and doodle like retarded six-year-olds over some masterpieces of Western painting" sort of thread.
I attach an image of Giorgone's subtle, intriguing and infinitely precious "La Tempesta" for Crackyfags to relieve themselves on in their accustomed style and manner.
