Yes, certainly, amidst all the cold cynical "turn around and open your buttcheeks" and "I'll do it for 100 tokens" on MFC, there IS this thin, fragile, softly glistening Ariadne's Thread of the precious human need for the elusive quality of peace, and of an end to suffering, that only the gaze and the touch - or the semblance of the gaze and the touch - of a woman can bring.
But that is exactly what is HORRENDOUS about environments like MFC, not what is redeeming and beautiful about them.
People involved in places like MFC necessarily and inevitably drag THIS precious, fragile, vulnerable part of the male "johns" down into the flth and dirt as well.
It wouldn't be so bad if it was possible just to drag the "horny asshole" part of a guy like this through the degradation and ugliness of paying for your presence, or pseudo-presence, and to leave his heart and his childlike human need for tenderness out of it.
But that can't be done. There is a terrible and beautiful line in Michel Houellebecq's "Elementary Particles":
"A particle of tenderness is always there, ineradicably, in every seduction. That is why it is so hard just to despair and give up."
If only one COULD despair and give up. If only one COULD become the "thing" that almost all MFC johns APPEAR to be to the girls, and become dead at last to the ndefinable, subtle joys of togetherness that are spoken about in this exchange.
Because don't kid yourself, Dolly - and above all don't kid HIM - about how little your allowing him his momentary dream of tenderness is going to mean in the end.
You've suffered a lot, so yes, I can believe that there may still be a faint impulse of human empathy alive in you for these suffering, lonely men.
But if - as I suspect - you've got the idea for doing this from RavRav and Kimi, then I know that that impulse will not survive for long, or will have exactly ZERO practical consequences if it does.
I have reached out to RavRav many a time - and to Kimi too a few times in recent months, since she and RavRav's lives have been bound up so closely together - with this very same simple human need for tenderness, and for the nurturing maternal presence of a woman of whom one asks nothing more than that she linger with you through a few moments of the endless night.
The unbelievably vicious and contemptuous attack that their and your close friend Jeff made on me just before he closed down his execrable shithole of a site opened my eyes once and for all to the fact that such tenderness and togetherness can NEVER be given to a guy who has paid 200 dollars for tokens, nomatter HOW sweet and touching he is in PMs.
