Far be it from me to suggest not discussing the merits of cosplay on an anonymous internet board filled with aimless rejects who will hate everything anyone purports to love just to fill the gaping hole in their souls, but you seem nice (and you write girlish).
So please don't bother; it will lead to nothing but trolls pretending to feast on the entrials of their victory and saying nasty things about cosplay just because there's nothing else left in their lives.

The Internet should be teeming with cosplay boards. You might find more kindred spirits there.
