I wrote "komm, süßer Tod" into my arm. The umlaut, two short stabs with the point of a Stanley blade, was very satisfying to do. But I think I mucked up the eszett, and none of it is as deep as I'd have liked.

The mundacity of life is often best relieved by occasional fits of madness, dreams and death. Given that the latter is unavoidable and the first unpredictable, that leaves dreaming, as the obvious choice, as it is often a taste of both.
