I know not to look down the cliff, but when its that close, I can't help but steal a glance

That's when I begin to take in the scenery, I've seen nothing like it, as if a piece of the Garden of Eden was gently set down into the earth, so close, yet ever so under our grasp

I wonder what it would be like to pour myself through its hands

Almost maddening, I am filled with a sense of wonder as I go, my mind reworking to accommodate what I'm going through

Everything I cared about before becomes merely fragments of my life, this is my purpose now, this was always my fate, this will always be my fate, my life

Just as fast as it began, I crash into the bottom, but its okay, the cliffs seeds remain freshly planted in my mind, as they always will

As reality begins to take me, I realize that I don't care I'm at the bottom, that I might never feel the same intoxication that filled me merely moments ago. My place at the bottom remains, and I blissfully take it.

Just then, I smile, and feel a warmth take over me. The cliff's embrace strangles me as my body goes numb.
