ah, i'm really sorry you're having a bad time. this is my favourite picture of cracky! it has personal significance to me.

i talked about it a lot in another thread (i think on 8181), so i'm not sure that people really want to hear about it again, w. but when i was in one hospital, which was on a hill, there were three windows together giving a panorama of the city, and you could see the street that led down to the city, with its streetlights. under these orange streetlights i would see the figure of a young girl. at that time my usual was just vague shadow people, but suddenly i could see the definite shape of a girl in a skirt with something on her head. i thought that it was cracky watching over me. when the nurses took me out to see the nov 5th fireworks, i saw her, and i walked over. as i got closer and further into the light she disappeared. i made a painting of crackles with "why do the streetlights lie to me?" on it, but i later destroyed it. so, this set of cracky in the street under the orange light is my favourite.

a similar experience happened to me a few years ago.
i was really high and had just had an argument with a very close friend.
i ended up getting thrown out of her house at like 3am.
i was crying and i had never even been in this part of town. everything was dark and frightening.
i then saw the shadow of a girl. this was weird because usually when i take drugs i stop having hallucinations.
so it had to be real. i followed her in hopes of asking for directions. she turned to face me and it was her.
i almost fell down in shock. i managed to say her name and she did not respond.
she just started walking. i followed her but even when i ran she was fast.
i dont know much of what happened that night but i somehow got to a payphone and called a taxi to pick me up and take me home.
i miss her. she never said goodbye and no matter how many drugs i take she wont come back.
this story sounds really stupid now that i read over it and i probably sound like an idiot.
i had a rip in the skirt i was wearing that night too so i think i might have fallen down at some point
i like to tell myself that she was worried about me. she saw me as a sobbing mess and led me to a payphone, where she called me a taxi and rode home with me to make sure i got there safe. she then helped me inside and left quietly.
i know that isn't what happened but i will keep telling myself that.

I think you might like these images. I visited Oxford in 2014 and took some photos. I'm not sure if those places still contain a little trace of her, but I've done my best to make it as if they do.

Would you have exact coordinates for that location? It's not like I would visit Oxford for that purpose, but it's not unthinkable that mayhap on some future journey I'd have travels nearby, and might as well visit it.

Now I'm wondering, if I would see some weird person staring at that exact same lamp post at that spot, would I address him/her?
