Why is this board so slow?

I thought we had a pretty nice stream of newfags coming in last year. Did they all quit?

No one wants to see forced posts, even though I am the best poster on this board (and a few others). It's weird that there was a time last year when .71 was getting around 100 posts per day, before it went back to the usual 0-10.
