Death is the irreversible termination of the biological
functions that define a living organism.
TIME PARADOX
8 days after innoculation
Very small patches of mycelial growth are noticeable in some areas. The other jars look similar, I picked these four because of the relatively large patches in some of them, but these pictures can be taken as a nice random sample of the rest of the jars. The colonization, in my opinion, is going fairly slowly, I would have thought there would have been far more growth at this point. However, this is my first time growing, so I don't have much to base off of. I attribute the less than phenominal colonization rate to the somewhat low temperature of the environment the jars are in (low 70's F). Ideally, I'd have an incubation chamber set to about 80, but I don't feel as though the benefit would offset the cost of producing such a device.Hopefully the jars will be fully colonized in about three more weeks.

Woof Woof.
I just want to say that I fully support homebrew mycology.
All of the jars now have some stage of myceLIAl (see what I did? I just made this thread relevant) growth at this point.I can take some more pictures if you guys are still interested.
