STOP and read  Anonymous 2012-10-08 00:36:02 No. 169

Yemeth, is there an image for the back of the Tarot? I am going to have a deck professionally printed and I wanted them to be true to your work.

This might make a decent backing.(not Yemeth fyi) just a suggestion.

Or this, which I've matched to the same aspect ratio.

Thanks Rock. If Yemmeth doesn't get back to me in another week, I will just go with number two.

yemeto here. there's not an official one really. The simplest way would be using the same texture that surrounds the card, but the examples provided in this thread look much better.

uploading a bigger version of the texture, maybe you can do something with it. I must admit I printed quite too raw-ish and poorman-ish, grouping the pics in blocks of three and sending them to Photobox, so the back of the tarot is simply photographic paper for me

Do you think I should use a fixative add stiffness and protection to the cards? I am worried about them sticking together if I do.

You know I would just like to say that the Tarot is aces. You have all the planets and signs associated with each card. You actually used the minor arcana's names unlike the Rider Deck. Really very well done Yemeto.

Thank you very much! The other person involved with this site ("Schatten", she doesn't dwell much around this board though she quite appreciates Cracky) helped a lot, specially with correspondences and stuff. The idea on writing the names and correspondences is also because I suck at remembering them, and because I liked that a lot in the Thoth tarot -though the names sometimes differ-.
