Well, they are adding an extra 'bonus' dungeon with the predictable super weapons/armor at the end of it, so that's something (but not much).

Personally, I want Secret of Mana on DS (Wi-Fi 3-player mode ^_^ ). Or even better, SEIKEN DENSETSU 3.

We probably will see neither.

Here's 'Radical Dreamers', the prequel to Chrono Cross:

Oh man, we'd rent bomberman to get the multi-tap just to use on secret of mana.

I upped this for elsewhere after tortuous torrent, it's diverting for a couple of "games". Essentially, each game is a ten minute dream, unless you fall off a cliff, then the game ends abruptly. There are no rules or goals, but your dream environment shifts almost completely whenever you bump into anything. Can be entertaining, can be utterly tedious, at least it's free.

Sonic The Hedgehog's first (and only) appearance on the MegaCD. Hailed as one of the last "great" Sonic games, people seem to either love or hate this title.

You'll need an emulator capable of running MegaCD games (and the BIOS) of course, which you can get here:

For those of you who actually own a working Sega CD/Mega CD unit, the ISO/Mp3s can be burned to a disk using a program called FireBurner. The resulting disk will play on a MegaCD without any modification to the console. I can post additional information, should anyone need it.

Enjoy, Wish.

It has come to my attention that I uploaded the far inferior USA soundtrack along with the game. Fortunately, there is a simple workaround to this problem.

LINK: http://rapidshare.com/files/131222557/SCD_Japanese_OST.rar.html

Unzip the RAR file to the same folder that contains your Sonic CD ISO & mp3s. If you want the game to run the Japanese soundtrack, rename the ISO "scd_jap.iso". For the American soundtrack, name it "scd_usa.iso". It's that simple. Ah, the wonders of emulation.

DO NOT CHANGE THE FILENAMES OF THE MP3s! The game will not run properly!

My apologies for the oversight (all one of you that actually might have bothered to download & play this).

This is one of the best games ever. If you haven't played it, you're missing out.

>> No.2

Never heard of it. Considering it's made by Blue Byte I have good expectations of it. I'll be sure to check it out sometime.

>> No.3

If you do manage to check it out, post it here. I haven't found anywhere to play it. I used to have a copy when I was rocking an Acorn back in the nineties, but my parents sold the fucking thing and I haven't been able to find a working copy since.

Thank you for this, SpookyHat. I haven't played the original DooM (at least the PC version) in many years; this should be a lot of fun. I was in 7th grade when this first came out, and I remember it was SO AMAZING - everyone was talking about it.

You don't happen to have HeXeN, do you?

Also, let's not forget that before this.... there was Wolfenstien 3D. And that's it. DooM was THE FPS game until Goldeneye came out on the N64.

This is the first game in Namco's "Tales of" series. Originally released on the Super Famicom in Japan, it was eventually remade for the Playstation (including an upgraded battle system running on the Tales of Destiny engine). That remake is what I have uploaded here, except that it has been tranlated into English by Absolute Zero Translations.

Information is here:

Oh, and there's also a red-haired girl named Lia who plays a small role in the story. :)
