Oi, don't spoil it... maybe she's really interested in aesthetic imagery in it's own right, and not just as an attention-seeking gonna-ditch-it-right-away-when-I-get-what-I-want kind of thing?
Yeah, okay, so that simply couldn't be true. I think Pyromania would have been more fun.
Can we draw comparisons with Corky? Olivia Bee has stayed awake during at least one television show/lesson at posh school about the history of art, and clearly has enough feeling for classical structure to make junk look gorgeous simply by arrangement. Corky on the other hand pressumably pressed the shutter timer and legged it in front of the camera for most of her solo stuff.
Subject-wise they both come from an LJ-style eating disorder background. They both explore their disatisfaction through fantasy displacement, Corky through characters, Olivia Bee through situations.
Technique-wise they both show signs of promise at a very early age, but as noted by the realists with both will have packed it all in sooner than later, and become as tedious and mundane as the next girl.
Both are clearly delicious and physically delightful, a fact that they would have contested bitterly no doubt, until they got boyfriends.
I think these two would be friends. Maybe an introduction could be arranged?
