To be honest, anything with symbols you don't already know (japanese, arabic etc) this program will not really help teach you. It's basicaly a overpriced picture book flashcard/dictionary, with outdated menus and images.

That said, if you do plan on learning one of those type languages but already have memorized the characters (example: you know chinese kanji, are learning japanese) this can help you a lot in daily practice, but with any serious learning it will require immersion on several different levels if you wish to become fluent.
