I need a free/simple program (Windows) to do something really basic: cut a section of an MP3 out into a separate file. Thoughts?

Goldwave. Pic related. Notice how I have a section selected? That program does just about everything you could ever want to do with an audio file.

Audacity is also a fine program which I'm sure has that capability, I've just never used it to chop up files before.

I tried Audacity first and it worked fine (interface was kinda wonky) I'll try Goldwave next time.
