I'm hihacking this thread. Is there anyway you' consider placing the tinychat in a separete window? Like on the top: [wish / faux / culture / chat]. That would be really nice, because it would make the page load quicker and the browser to leak less memory when you open different threads at the same time.
Favicon would be cool too. I could make one if that helps.

Mhm, moving TC would be a good idea seeing as it's a pos app

>>3467 I recall there was a poll about moving the TC and it came out with the score in favor of detaching it from the board, but nothing changed.
Imo, I wouldn't get my hopes up. It would be nice though.

>>3460 (OP) Lol, you got your wished granted, that pic is now the favicon haha.
>>3462 Not sure if I get the logic. The TC is basically dead, moving it is essentially guaranteeing it would never be used again. The site is also slow, so I don't see the problem with dealing with some memory leak during the short while we visit in order to at least vainly try and keep the chat alive Also, I don't actually notice the site loading slower than any other site out there.
When I say slow the first time up there I mean in terms of activity, not load times. Of course I can't fix it now because the way
Imho, I think moving the Tc would revive it a bit, because for those who "dislike" the, um, idk, I lost my train of thought. Anyway, I meant that it'd be better for linking anywhere since then the chat wouldn't be specifically connected to the board, but become a more general chat (like all the other chats have been used, even by people who never post here).
Also, my computers sucks balls so I'll have to side with the memory thing, since the firefox and all of it's unholy browser brethen haven't fixed memory leaking, the constant loading of the chat app makes the writing here slower (and in my limited experience, has a lot to do with messages cutting short). I usually disable the app with adblock, write a post (like now) then activate it again. (and no, copy pasting doesn't help, although it probably has to do with my laptop being a piece of garbage).

>>3480 I should go to sleep, but anyhow, I meant for example, that for some of the "Wish" haters, seeing "skyqueen.cc/chat" instead of "skyqueen.cc/wish" might help the chat. I'm an idiot though, so there is that to consider regarding any ideas I give. Also my laptop has a resolution of 1024x600, so in the main page (this one), I have to use the browser's zoom out in order to fit the chat in a single a viewing space.
Anyway, thanks for keeping the site up. Means a lot to everyone, whether they say or not.

Can we pretty please have the chat on it's on page/link? that way it will stretch to the user's resolution and browser's size/skin/theme.
Benefits: - It would decrease load when accessing the page. - It would stop creating phantom guests when more than tab of wish is open. - It would make the chances of crashing lower due to fewer code elements. - It would be more useful for linking to other places (if so desired). - It would help those who don't have the same resolution as the chat (page source states 800px height, but with the taskbar and toolbars, the browser only gets around 760x (same for people with a 768 height resolution or lower). - The above would also help tablets, if there has ever been anyone so desperate to chat, lol. - Also, it would make the chat more accessible for people that have no desire to see the board's contents.
>>3552 There have been countless times for me where I left open a tab of this board and hours later I suddenly hear the tinychat sound and get into a conversation that way. If it was on a separate page this wouldn't happen. There already exists a separate page for the tinychat, it's tinychat.com/whateverthenamethisweekis just block it with adblock, requestpolicy, click to activate flash, or any other of the 100 available methods if you don't want it to load
